Yodel It was the Romanian entry at the Eurovision Song Contest 2017 in Kiev performed by Ilinca Băcilă and Alex Florea. This is the country's return after a 1-year absence where the Romanian government agreed to pay back TVR's substantial debts to the EBU. The song itself contains an unusual combination of rapping and yodelling. It qualified from the second semifinal in 6th place. In the final, it was performed 20th following Cyprus and preceding Germany. At the close of voting, it finished in 7th place with 282 points, Romania's best-scoring song to date and its best placing since 2010.
