Simon Drake was born in Rivet City in 2246 to Les Drake, one of the city's senior Security officers, and Diane Drake, the city's teacher. Simon was born the eldest of two, his sister was born in 2248. When Simon was five, his parents had decided that Rivet City was too stifling to live in, and decided that they should move out into more open territory.
