Judeo–Christian (sometimes written as Judaeo–Christian) refers to a set of beliefs and ethics allegedly held in common by Judaism and Christianity. In the Jewish-Christian Gospels ethics were simular but not beliefs regarding the the Messiah. Most Jews reject and dislike the term "Judeo-Christian" because it presumes Jewish adherence to Christian views, glossing over major differences and erasing actual Jewish teachings and traditions in favor of a supposed hybrid composed almost entirely of Christian views.
