Ghostmates is a 2016 American comedy film. The film was announced on June 23, 2016 by Smosh at Vidcon. The official trailer was released December 8, 2016 on Smosh.com and the Smosh channel. The film premiered December 14, 2016 on YouTube Red and it had a private showing on December 9, 2016. This is Smosh's second dive into the film industry after 2015's Smosh: The Movie.
