Range boars are a species of mammals native to Choss. They are around the size of a rhinoceros, and are hunted by the humans of Choss for sport. Range boars are aggressive, and will gore humans on site with their large tusks. Range boars were fed on by feral mutalisks during when a spire was left behind after a zerg incursion on Choss. When the game bat numbers began to decline, the feral mutalisks began to hunt for human prey.
