Kingdom Hearts: Rise of the Thirteen Part I is a video game set between Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep and the original Kingdom Hearts. It is similar to 358/2 Days in that it focuses on the newly created Xehanort and his time as an apprentice to Ansem the Wise up through the creation of Organization 13. The plot begins to really pick up when there are more numerous spotings of creatures called Heartless throughout the worlds.
