The Mercora were a peaceful race that came to Earth and colonized it around 65,000,000 B.C. when their home planet was destroyed when its sun was sucked into a black hole. They were constantly at war with a hivemind race of ant-like creatures called the Nesk and introduced Broccoli, which is a crop they cultivated on their homeworld, to Earth. The ones that were on Earth were the only ones in existence. The Mercora looked like huge, very asymmetrical multi-colored crabs that had with one big three-way pincher on one side of their body, and three human-like arms, with long, tampered, delicate fingers on the other side.
