An eating diary also called food tracking, food diary, is a record of what someone eats over time. It can be kept to help with weight control, the identification of food allergies, nutrition analysis or just to make sure that someone gets a varied diet or doesn't serve the same food to the same people repeatedly at parties. An eating diary can be kept with regular paper and pen, online, using specific forms or formats (e.g., Weight Watchers) or using a variety of electronic tools (see some under external links or check out online trackers).
