Gold Man is built to take advantage of several aspects of gold, and this shows through on his ability to glint in the sunlight that occasionally covers his arena and his gold-themed abilities. His signature move is the Gold Coin, where he flips a coin, forcing him to choose between healing himself or dealing a powerful attack - the Midas Beam; when Mega Man obtains this power, it does the same thing, only the attack is weaker and he must catch the coin (in the case of moving at the time of the usage of the technique).
