Reytan was a planet located in the space of the galaxy's Beta Quadrant, in orbit of the Reytan star system. This class M Federation world is in the Orion sector of the Sirius sector block. Federation scientists have found Reytan's desert climate to provide a fascinating study in extremes. Even the most populous regions of Reytan receive more than 27 hours of light per day, with the shorter nights causing temperates to plummet rapidly.
