Doctor Elizabeth Martin was a Confederate scientist who worked at the Orna III science facility. She experimented on psychically gifted terrans, but saw the experiments she did as brutal and inhumane. When Sarah Kerrigan and Jim Raynor raided the facility, they rescued Martin, saying they were here to get her out and shut down the experiments. Martin showed them to the cellblock containing the prisoners, and went to gather other researchers who agreed with her thoughts on the experiments.
