Kir was one of twelve Brenari refugees fleeing the Devore Imperium, which persecuted them because of their telepathic abilities. In 2375 when their freighter was damaged, they were rescued by the USS Voyager. Voyager managed to smuggle Kir and the other refugees through Devore space by suspending them in the transporter during Devore inspections. Kir and the others eventually escaped Devore space through a wormhole aboard two Voyager shuttlecraft. (VOY: "Counterpoint") Kir was played by Randy Oglesby.
