The Artillery Fire Control System is a joint UNSC artillery deployment system used by ground, air and space assets to deploy artillery to designated targets. The AFCS works as an element of the War Net, functioning as a sub system. Whenever a theatre commander, forward observe, reconnaissance element of military A.I. designate a target, it transmits the data to the nearest available artillery asset and transmits all reconnaissance information (Including but not limited to GPS, satellite imagery, UAV reconnaissance, ground reconnaissance, AWACS, stationary reconnaissance assets) and fire detail, such as direct fire, area saturation, and so on.
