The First Laeric War was the first of three wars between the Laeric and the Dylutch races. Even though the Dylutch were highly trained warriors, and had fought off other species from their planet, they weren't used to the blasters, flamethrowers, and tanks which the Laerics used. It lasted four years, and in the end, the Laerics were victorious. They took the planet of Dyloth (renamed Laer) as their own. It was a serious blow to the Dylutch, and they kept their anger hidden for about 600 more years, until it exploded in the form of the Second Laeric War.
