The papers were, apparently, not research in and of themselves- but rather a sort of index of potential research projects, and a brief evaluation of papers from other journals, at least from the limited exposure that Tess had in her efforts toward assisting him. "Are you a friend of Johan's?" The man asked distractedly, as he ran his hands over the ground in search for the stray documents, sighing tragically at one that was apparently sopping wet.
