The centaurs are half-human and half-horse, and were scouts and mobile archers of the wizards. But when the wizards developed animated constructs to act as a replacement for the beastmen, the centaurs were instead given less noble tasks, including carrying messages and pulling carts. When Kunyak, chieftain of the orcs, started a rebellion against the wizards in 467 YSD, the centaurs were among the beastmen that joined them in their struggle. When the battle turned against the rebels, they had to flee from the Seven Cities.
