This is essentially a souped-up version of the Red Boss Shield Bat (CV4). However, instead of firing multiple lasers at characters, this boss fires one large, powerful laser with a higher AGI than the boss in Cavern 4 that pierces characters and bounces off terrain. Melee characters fighting this boss are advised to equip a high level black crystal, or to use the hit-and-run strategy.
