Born and raised in Belgium, Ruben discovered his love for theatre at a young age. After graduating in Physical Education, Ruben moved to The Netherlands to study Music Theatre at the Fontys Conservatoire. Whilst training he played Hamlet in Hamlet, Lysander in A Midsummer Night's Dream and Alan Strang in Equus. He gained professional theatre experience as Bernstein in Dogfight.
