Pachyderm Rift is the first rift location in Tak 2: The Staff of Dreams. After Tak summons The Giant Misunderstanding from Pachyderm Shrine, Lok and Dead Juju wake up and Tak is sent here. Unlike most levels, Tak must run away from the powerful rift following him. This place make the return of Nightmare Creatures. The only nightmare creatures in this place is Imps. This level also features checkpoints, which bears some resemblance of the platforms from the first three dream world levels. When Tak accomplishes this, he is sent to Gyre Mountain.
