Blanche was married to toyboy Shane Trickle. She was killed in a shark accident. She appears in the series finale of Pushing Daisies, "Kerplunk". Her surname is presumably designed to evoke 'remora', with all the co-dependent, secondary and sucking-up imagery thereof.
