CHIMU Pro was first announced in August 2014 in a press conference where majority shareholder William Regal announced he had purchased the video library of Ring of Poison. The promotion ran its first show as part of WrestlingFigs.com's Figamania supershow in December 2014. The first CHIMU Pro pay-per-view event took place in September 2015 and featured the culmination of two tournaments, to crown the first Tag Team Champions and the first holder of the International Singles Trophy.
