Tanzar is one of the NPC's that you save while doing the Timed Event in Zul'Aman. You save him by killing the Bear aspect boss, Nalorakk, before the timer runs out. It is also an easter egg - his name is an anagram of Tarzan, who used to live in a jungle and Zul'Aman has a jungle environment as well.
