Malivuk was an otter of Redwall Abbey, and the brother of Princeton. He was a good friend of the Skipper, and the two of them ran off to find Skipper after he left to help Thorn Streamflow, and they became involved in the war. When Princeton was injured, Malivuk was heartbroken but he overcame it. He then joined Thorn and he and Skipper went to go burn the Streaker, Fellizia Seafox's corsair ship. The winds changed, and the fire blew back in his and Skipper's faces. Malivuk shoved Skip off the ship, saving him but killing himself.
