The Special Operation force of the UNSC are large Join task force combining cross branch unit. The point of combining several force from multiple branch is to use the best of each unit, Marines, Army and Navy. The UNSC Special Force is completely autonomous branch from ODST, Navy SEAL, Ranger, Delta Force and MFR and are rather labelled as Black ops. It most be noted that all special force fall under the command of the UNSC Unified Special Warfare Command. It is mandatory for a candidat of the Spartan-IV program to serve within the special force. It also serve as the candidat pool for the program.
