In the games, it can be equipped to double the length of temporary boosting battlefield items; however, in some games it instead may add an extra 15 seconds to the usual time limit (such as in Warriors Orochi 3). It is present in Dynasty Warriors 3 through Dynasty Warriors 5. In Dynasty Warriors: Online, it is renamed "Time Scroll" and instead adds an extra 5 seconds to temporary buffs. The upgraded version, "Eternal Scroll", adds 10 seconds.
