Eddie McUsic, who is the brother of Joe McUsic, appears in Law & Murder, and is addressed as "Mr. McUsic" by Beckett fairly early in the episode. It transpires that Eddie is rather less of an upstanding citizen than Joe, although it is only due to his testimony that Joe's murderer, Stephen Addison, is brought to justice. However, Eddie couldn't bear the guilt and went to Joe at his fundraiser and told him everything. Joe decided to retrieve Lyla's body, but by the time he arrived, the police had arrested Otis Williams, who had taken the car for a joyride, unaware of its deceased contents.
