Graduated from Waseda University and became vice-president of the Japan Bodybuilders Association. Tazuhama was a wrestling adviser for the ill-fated 1940 Summer Olympics. He later went on to create Japan's first Professional Wrestling magazine, Monthly Pro Wres. He was the commentator for All Japan Pro Wrestling from its creation in 1972 until around 1985.
