Gillian Drescher was a Mesan citizen and an officer of the Mesan Planetary Peaceforce. Holding the rank of Lieutenant General, she became commander of the MPP's Capital District in Mendel. Three years later, after the alleged Audubon Ballroom terrorist attacks on major Mesan population centers, she was charged with taking over the seccy districts of Mendel. After sending wave after wave of troopers into Neue Rostock Tower for three weeks, she asked General Thandi Palane for a ceasefire when the Royal Manticoran Navy's Tenth Fleet invaded the Mesa System.
