Shubs were a race of beings that were involved in the Third Reconciliation of the Meketrex Supplicants. Gozer ended their existence alongside the Zulls by taking the form of a giant Sloar. It was said the Shubs and Zulls "knew what it was to be roasted in the depths of a Sloar." Not much else is known about this race, and this information was completely coming from Vinz Clortho while possessing Louis Tully in 1984.
