This class of three ships is the third design of Dreadnought battleships in the Royal Navy. Once again, the original design was improved by fitting a new main battery and a greater number of 4" secondary guns. A new power plant allows for the same speed as the previous designs and a greater endurance at an increased displacement. All ships entered service in 1909 and 1910.
