The substance was abandoned shortly after testing, due to the adverse result of the Republic officials who disagreed with mass marketing substances that could effect the power of their troops. The substance could still be found in circular fissions, occasionally at yard sales or junkyards. Smugglers occasionally used it to plate their ships, despite the impracticality of the weight and harsh aerodynamics. They also used it for selling bait at local trade markets after fixing them up.
