Rob Cavallo made his debut into wrestling by joining UWF. After a short while he got his first shot at gold, and came away with it after a brutal Capital Crimes match. Rob was not alone in winning the UWF Juniorweight Championship, however, as Chris Linden, who was the defending champion, also came down with the belt. After the co-champions shared the belt for a month, Rob won complete ownership of the belt. Shortly afterwards, UWF collapsed, and Rob's title was never defended.
