The Tactician was Walking the Earth to train his/her skills as a military strategist. He/She was ambushed by bandits and found by Lyn, who nursed him/her back to health. The Tactician would go on to join the armies of the Lords as their strategist. The Tactician is a stand-in for the player with no dialogue or characterization. Many of the cutscenes either take place from the Tactician's first person point of view or will show the back of the Tactician's head looking out into the scene as a psuedo-first-person point of view.
