With all of the information provided, China is most likely in worse shape than the United States, as if almost completely destroyed. Because of China's geography to the United States' allies, most of Europe and Asia would have also been decimated. Africa may not been affected as severely, however, as one can assume their economy does not support nuclear weapons.
