The retinal 10 Scan is an eye security scan seen once in Metroid: Other M. After Samus Aran completes her training course, she follows the scan procedure to enter the meeting room and speak to a number of Galactic Federation representatives. It was first shown in the Gameplay Movie. It is similar to the security system featured in the Metroid Prime 3: Corruption room Security Station. The Metroid Prime 3: Corruption Preview Aurora Unit trailer also features a retinal scanner.
