The Nightmare Army was a force encountered and taken over by Maxx Acorn while trapped in Moebius' Zone of Silence. With the army supporting him, Maxx's powers grew to the point where he posed a threat to other Zones as well as his own. As such, the Zone Cops arrested him, leaving the status of his Nightmare Army unknown. (SU: #29)
