The Griffon Banner was the personal standard of Magnus the Pious, and ever since the Great War Against Chaos it has been a symbol of noble bravery, sacrifice and valour throughout the Empire. Subtle enchantments are woven into the banner, and when the soldiers of the Empire carry it into battle, they fight with the courage and determination of Magnus himself.[1a]
