The Panther River flows from its mouth in Niben Bay through the Nibenay Valley into the Blackwood region before finally stopping just shy of the Black Marsh border. Animal life can be found in the usual forms of Mudcrabs and Slaughterfish as well as some stray Will-o-the-Wisps and deer. Despite its length the river is only bridged once with the sole bridge being part of the Yellow Road. There is a Troll under the bridge with a note and a drink in its corpse.
