A Psychopomp is a kind of spirit living in the Deep Umbra. They bring the Avatar of a person when he Awaken. They disappeared around 1450, maybe due to a voluntary exile, or banished by the current paradigm. They are coming back since the Avatar Storm to defend creation. The Stormwardens are in fact spiritual descendants of the "chosen" of the Psychopomp. By possessing a willing Awakened mage, they can form an hybrid creature called an Anakim.
