Allow your opponent or when he reaches into support drive,hit him with your ultimate jutsu and keep trying to hit them. They will most of the time use Ultimate Jutsu Substitution and the support character will take the hit. Do this twice to K.O. the support character. Do this ASAP because Support Drive doesn't last forever. Also, another way that works well is to ring-out the opponent, wherein the support character will throw him/her back into the arena. Do that twice for the same result
