Meris III was the third planet in the Meris system. A jungle world, Meris III's rich natural environment led to the development of many unique life forms; one plant was proven to be a particularly effective treatment for Taren plague and related viruses. There were several harvesting colonies on the planet, with pharmaceutical refinement factories on Merisee. Meris III was orbited by a single moon.
