Fortombro was a pirate who lived in the Anoat sector at the time of the Iron Blockade. Around this time, Fortombro hijacked a shipment of Imperial mining droids, attempting to reprogram them for combat. Only one droid, RN-18, survived the process, so Fortombro rented the droid to various customers, including a young smuggler.
