Simplicity 3550; ca. 1940; CHILD'S DRESS AND PANTIES. Dress is closed in front with loops and buttons or with slide fastener; tucked in front below the bodice. Bodice back is dart-fitted at lower edge and joined to skirt back. Neck is finished with a collar which may be made detachable. Tie belts are included in underarm seams and tied at back. Short puff sleeves are finished with narrow binding. Style I has patch pockets and collar trimmed with frilling. Style II, the bodice fronts and collar are finished with bias tape. Panties have elastic inserted thru casing at top.
