The von Karmas are a German family of which three are known by name: late Prosecutor Manfred von Karma, his prosecuting prodigy daughter Franziska von Karma, and Miles Edgeworth by adoption. Manfred has also mentioned a 7-year old granddaughter, which, if true, presumably means that he had another child other than Franziska. However, no other mention has been made of this granddaughter or hinted offspring other than during Phoenix Wright's confrontation with him in court, which led to an end to his perfect win record. Wright also ended the win records of Franziska and Edgeworth.
