Vicky Bone was a lieutenant in the Dendarii Free Mercenary Fleet, and the fleet's accountant. She managed fleet finances during a cash-flow crisis on Earth, and was still with the fleet four years later when Mark Vorkosigan absconded with the Dendarii warship Ariel.
