After being given carte Blanche by the government and General Wilson, little seems to be happening over the six weeks following the alien's revival. Wilson is considering cancelling Blackwood's program when the aliens at last make their move: a report comes in of an entire herd of cattle being drained of their blood, then they learn about a theft of plastic being made at a factory, both to be used to ensure the lives of the Advocate alien leaders.
