The Folly of Chagatai was the last play of Kakita Hiro, who depicted the deeds of Moto Chagatai. It was ill-planned, as it was bean in 1196, and before it was finished there were rumors that Chagatai was elevated to Fortune status. The play was debuted at a Winter Court in Oyomesan province, and Hiro was universally panned. After Hiro's death it was revealed that he had been blackmailed and forced to produce plays that were fed to him.
