Before his professional debut with the Captain Tsubasa one-shot, Yoichi Takahashi created four manga, all of which, like the Captain Tsubasa one-shot, were sent to Shueisha's contests for new artists. Not much is known about them since none has ever been published commercially and are mostly known through publications and documentaries dedicated to Takahashi's career.
