Barely escaping with their lives, Garrod returns to the Freeden with the damaged Daughtress and Jamil, the captain placed in critical but stable condition in the Freedens medical bay. As Garrod tries to apologize for what happened, he is slapped by Sala Tyrrell, and over hears the crew talking about him. Feeling angered and rejected, Garrod takes off with the Gundam X with plans to sell it in the nearest town at an auction. As he leaves the Freeden, the leader of the mobile suits that attacked him at the nuclear power plant becomes more interested in him because of his piloting skills and good looks.
