Hamtaro is out with a few of the Ham-Hams when Howdy spots a giant chestnut fallen to the ground! This chestnut proceeds to attack him. It's a Hamster! She tells the Ham-Hams to follow her. Upon getting back, the Ham-Hams meet Eggy-P and Tomy-T. They soon learn the name Marron (Or Little Chestnut as translated). They are all enlisted to help collect the crops from their orchard, much to Marron's disappointment, who storms off.
